Angel on Earth

My cousin Joel, and his wife lost their son this week. I was so touched by the inspiring words his family shared today at his funeral today. My testimony of the Atonement and God's love for his children has been strengthened by this little boys life, and the example of his sweet family. Jake Robb LeRoy
Jake Robb LeRoy 5/9/2002 ~ 6/16/2009 Jake was only given three months to live and his courage gave him seven years. He never spoke, but taught us the purpose of life. He had a very strong spirit and gave much more than he received. Jake taught us what the pure love of Christ truly means.Survived by parents, Joel and Jacque; siblings Janessa, Monique, Tyler and Brock; grandparents, Clayne and Betty Lou Poulsen, Dan and Janie LeRoy. Ethan's Room

We finished Ethan's room a few weeks ago, and he loves it! Yes it is Ethan's room, Lochlan just thinks he has to be in every picture. It's been great for him to have his own space, and he actually keeps it clean! Lochlan and Rowan share now. Rowan is happy about it, Loch not so much. But Rowan has been sleeping in his bed a lot better. Hopefully soon we won't have a bed buddy anymore.

7 Years Old!

Tuesday, Feb. 17 was Lochlan's Birthday. I can't believe my little Loch is 7! He had a fun party with his brothers and (get this)......7 of his friends! He said it was the best day ever. Here are some of the highlights!

Draper Temple Open House

We went with the boys and some friends on Friday to see the 129th
temple. It was a great experience! Every one should take their kids.
Now they have a better idea what it's like.

Breaking News!

Nate and I have been looking forward to the Coldplay concert on Nov.22 for over 6 months. I said to him years ago, if they ever come here we are going to that concert! So we bought our tickets early the day they went on sale. Then 101.9 the end announced a contest to win tickets and backstage passes to MEET Coldplay! I was a faithful listener waiting for something to be announced(which wasn't easy, they play a lot of crap). This week they started the contest, they would play a Coldplay song every hour and if you knew all 9 and were the 10th caller-WINNER! I started listening yesterday at 9:00 and wrote down a song every hour until Nate came home and then I left him with instructions to listen and write down the last two songs, and I went to the store. Right when I got home the last song started and I ran in the house and got ready to dial! I used our home phone and Nate called on his cell. Busy. Busy again. Then Nate's rang-caller 3! Busy again. Nate's ring's again! They pick up and ask him his name, and I know he's caller 10! I scream, and Nate says he's caller 9. Liar! He was caller 10! We WON! Tickets to the concert, backstage passes, a preshow party for only 20 people were we will meet them, and $101.9 dollars! Needless to say I am way excited! Now what am I going to wear?
